Clean Aire II fume hoods are a Class 1 ductless hood workstation designed for effective filtration of fumes, odors, and non-hazardous chemical vapors through activated carbon. The unit is a self-contained, ductless hood featuring an integral carbon filter, vapor proof light, vertical sash, and controls that are entirely molded from fire retardant fiberglass. It comes equipped with an integral exhaust blower and the carbon filter, allowing for the absorption of small quantities of solvents, acids, and annoying odors. The system recirculates filtered air back into the laboratory, eliminating the need for ducting or venting outside, which contributes to lower energy costs. The fume hood is shipped completely assembled and ready for operation. Additionally, replacement carbon filters are available by special order in a pack of 2 (Part# 52004).
