The Contrx Fixed Horizontal Telescoping Jib Boom is designed to convert your forklift truck into a mobile crane, allowing for the movement of cumbersome items that the forks cannot reach. The jib extends to pick items from overhead, through, or over obstructions, and can be quickly installed by one person in minutes; the jib lift simply slips onto the forks and is secured to the truck with a 48" safety chain featuring a grab hook. Constructed from heavy-duty structural steel tube, it includes safety latched swivel hooks and a safety pin that locks the boom into one of nine positions, spaced 7-1/2" apart. The jib features nine hook positions, a base width of 24", and a height of 10" under the beam. It is important to note that OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your forklift truck for written approval before using any forklift attachments. The jib boom is proudly made in the USA.
