The Contrx Fixed Horizontal Telescoping Jib Boom is designed to convert your forklift truck into a mobile crane, allowing for the movement of cumbersome items that traditional forks cannot reach. This jib extends to pick items from overhead, through, or over obstructions, and can be easily installed by one person in just minutes. The jib lift slips onto the forks and is secured to the truck using a 48" safety chain with a grab hook. Constructed from heavy-duty structural steel tube, it features safety latched swivel hooks and a safety pin that locks the boom into one of nine positions, which are spaced 7-1/2" apart. The jib includes 9 hook positions, a 24" long base, and a clearance of 10" under the beam. This product is made in the USA and complies with safety regulations; however, it is important to note that OSHA requires users to contact the manufacturer of their forklift for written approval for the use of any forklift attachments.
