The Contrx Fixed Horizontal Telescoping Jib Boom is designed to transform a forklift truck into a mobile crane, enabling the movement of large items that forks cannot reach. This jib extends to facilitate picking from overhead or navigating around obstructions, and can be installed by one person within minutes by slipping the jib lift onto the forks and securing it to the truck with a 48" safety chain featuring a grab hook. Constructed from heavy-duty structural steel tubing, it includes safety latched swivel hooks and a safety pin that locks the boom into one of nine positions, spaced 7-1/2" apart. The kit includes a jib boom with 9 hook positions, a 24" long base, and a height of 10" under the beam. It is important to note that OSHA regulations require users to obtain written approval from the manufacturer of their forklift truck for the use of any attachments. The product is made in the USA.
