The Contrx Fixed Horizontal Telescoping Jib Boom is designed to convert a forklift truck into a mobile crane, allowing for the movement of cumbersome items that cannot be reached with the forks alone. With a reach that allows for picking from overhead or maneuvering around obstructions, this jib can be installed by one person in just minutes. The jib lift slips onto the forks and is secured to the truck using a 48" safety chain with a grab hook. Constructed from heavy-duty structural steel tube, it features safety latched swivel hooks and a safety pin that locks the boom into one of nine positions, spaced 7-1/2" apart. The jib includes 9 hook positions, a 24" base, and a 10" height under the beam. Note that OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your forklift for written approval regarding the use of any forklift attachments. Made in the USA, the jib meets necessary compliance standards and safety regulations.
