The Contrx Fixed Horizontal Telescoping Jib Boom is designed to convert your forklift truck into a mobile crane, allowing you to move cumbersome items that your forks cannot reach. This jib extends to pick items from overhead, through, or over obstructions and can be installed by one person in minutes, as it slips onto the forks and is anchored to the truck via a 48" safety chain with a grab hook. Constructed from heavy-duty structural steel tube, it features safety latched swivel hooks and a safety pin that locks the boom into one of nine positions, spaced 7-1/2" apart. The jib boasts a 24" length base and a 10" height under the beam. Please note that OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your forklift for written approval for the use of any forklift attachments.
