The Contrx Fixed Horizontal Telescoping Jib Boom is designed to transform a forklift truck into a mobile crane, allowing for the movement of cumbersome items that forks cannot reach. The jib can extend to pick items from overhead or over obstructions, and it can be installed by one person within minutes, as the jib lift slips onto the forks and is secured to the truck using a 48" safety chain with a grab hook. Constructed from heavy-duty structural steel tube, it features safety latched swivel hooks and a safety pin that locks the boom into one of nine positions, which are spaced 7-1/2" apart. The kit includes 9 hook positions, a 24" base, and a height of 10" under the beam. It is important to note that OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your forklift for written approval of any forklift attachments. The product is made in the USA.
