The Contrx pivoting jib boom is designed to convert your forklift truck into a mobile crane, allowing for the movement of cumbersome items that standard forks cannot reach. The jib can extend outward to pick loads from overhead, through, or over obstructions and is easily installed by one person in minutes, as it slips onto the forks and is secured to the truck via a 48" safety chain with a grab hook. Constructed from heavy-duty structural steel tube, it features safety latched swivel hooks and a safety pin that locks the boom into one of nine positions, with spacing of 7-1/2" apart. The jib boom includes 9 hook positions, a base measurement of 24", and a height under the beam of 19-1/2". It is made in the USA and complies with safety standards, although it is important to note that OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your forklift for written approval regarding the use of any forklift attachments.
