The Contrx Fixed Horizontal Telescoping Jib Boom is designed to convert a forklift truck into a mobile crane, enabling the user to move cumbersome items that the forks cannot reach. This jib can extend to pick up loads from overhead, through, or over obstructions. It features a heavy-duty structural steel tube construction and includes safety latched swivel hooks. The jib lift can be easily installed by one person in minutes; it slips onto the forks and is secured to the truck using a 48" safety chain with a grab hook. The design includes nine hook positions that are spaced 7-1/2" apart, a 24" length base, and a 10" height under the beam. Additionally, a safety pin locks the boom into place. The product is made in the USA and complies with OSHA regulations, which require contacting the manufacturer of the forklift for written approval for the use of any forklift attachments.
