The SDS-Plus standard tip is designed to fit all SDS-Plus and Hilti TE-C rotary hammers, featuring a reduced area above the flute to prevent binding during drilling and allowing for full utilization of the usable length. The shaft is constructed from chrome vanadium and is through-hardened to a hardness rating of 50-53 HRC. Its patented tip and flute design enhances dust removal efficiency, achieving up to 25% faster performance compared to other bits. Additionally, the shot-peened and double-tempered finish helps minimize breakage, while the hot isostatically pressed design extends the bit's life and enhances its resistance to breakage. The copper braze material provides high heat resistance, significantly reducing the risk of tip loss, and all tips are manufactured to comply with ANSI specifications.
