Its reduced area above the flute prevents binding during drilling, allowing for the full usable length to be utilized. The drill bit features a chrome vanadium shaft that is through-hardened to a hardness of 50-53 HRC. Its patented tip and flute design enhances dust removal efficiency, enabling drilling up to 25% faster than other bits. Additionally, a shot-peened, double-tempered finish is implemented to reduce the risk of breakage, while the hot isostatically pressed construction extends the tool's life and further resists breakage. The use of copper braze material provides high heat resistance, minimizing tip loss. All tips are manufactured to meet ANSI specifications, ensuring quality and reliability.
