The SDS-Plus standard tip is designed to fit all SDS-Plus and Hilti TE-C rotary hammers, featuring a reduced area above the flute that prevents the drill bit from binding during drilling, allowing for the full usable length to be utilized. The chrome vanadium shaft is through-hardened to 50-53 HRC, ensuring durability. A patented tip and flute design enhances dust removal efficiency, achieving up to 25% faster performance compared to other bits. The shot-peened, double-tempered finish minimizes breakage, while the hot isostatic pressing process extends the life of the bit and resists breakage. The use of copper braze material provides high heat resistance, reducing the likelihood of tip loss. All tips are manufactured to ANSI specifications.
