The SDS-Plus Standard Tip is compatible with all SDS-Plus and Hilti TE-C rotary hammers. It features a reduced area above the flute to prevent binding during drilling, allowing for the full usable length to be utilized. The shaft is made of chrome vanadium, which is through-hardened to 50-53 HRC. The patented tip and flute design efficiently removes dust, providing up to 25% faster performance compared to other bits. A shot-peened, double-tempered finish helps reduce breakage, while the hot isostatically pressed construction extends the tool's life and enhances breakage resistance. High heat resistance is achieved through copper braze material, and all tips are manufactured to meet ANSI specifications.
