The SDS-MAX standard tip fits all SDS-MAX rotary hammers and Hilti TE F, G, and Y rotary hammers, featuring a patented flute geometry that efficiently removes dust from the hole for faster drilling and extended longevity. The tool is designed with a shot-peened, double-tempered finish that minimizes breakage, while the copper braze material provides high heat resistance to reduce tip loss. All tips are manufactured to meet ANSI specifications, and the chrome vanadium shaft is through-hardened to a hardness of 50-53 HRC.
