The Uniflow SE Airstream fume hoods are high efficiency, full duty units available in 48", 60", 72", and 96" widths, designed to enhance energy savings and provide maximum user protection. These constant volume low flow hoods feature an aerodynamic face opening with an airfoil that ensures uniform airflow through the fume chamber, assisted by a vector baffle system that directs air to the bell-shaped exhaust collar with minimal turbulence. The hoods are constructed from dual wall unitized, non-metallic corrosion and fire-resistant composite fiberglass, and incorporate a molded one-piece fume chamber with a white glass-smooth surface and coved corners. The vertical sash is made of 3/16" tempered safety glass, counterbalanced and framed with chemical-resistant non-metallic PVC, and includes a sash stop at the 1/2 open position. Additionally, the fume hood is equipped with a vapor-proof LED light fixture and control switch wired to a single point junction box, operating at 115V/60Hz, AC. All electrical components are U.L. listed, and the fume hood itself is U.L. 1805 classified. Optional electrical services are available upon request.
