The Uniflow SE Airstream fume hoods are high efficiency, full duty fume hoods available in widths of 48", 60", 72", and 96". These hoods are designed for energy savings and maximum user protection, featuring an aerodynamic face opening with airfoil that ensures uniform air flow through the fume chamber. The constant volume low flow design incorporates a vector baffle system to direct air through the fume chamber to the bell-shaped exhaust collar with minimal turbulence. Key attributes include an air by-pass low flow, constant air volume system; dual wall unitized construction made of non-metallic corrosion and fire resistant composite fiberglass; and a molded one-piece fume chamber with a white glass-smooth surface and all coved corners. The vertical sash is counterbalanced and made of 3/16" tempered safety glass, framed with chemical resistant non-metallic PVC and equipped with an aerodynamic sash lift. A sash stop is conveniently installed at the 1/2 open position. The fume hood also includes a vapor proof LED light fixture and control switch, all wired to a single point junction box with a power specification of 115V/60Hz AC. All electrical components are U.L. listed, and the fume hood itself is U.L. 1805 classified. Optional electrical services are available upon request.
