Quincy Lab's AFE Series ovens are designed with quality UL and CSA recognized components, featuring a temperature range from ambient +25°F minimum to 450°F/232°C maximum. The oven cabinets are constructed with durable, heavy steel double-wall construction, painted light gray with a hard, scratch-resistant hammer finish, and equipped with high-impact thermoplastic handles for ease of use. The workspace is insulated with one inch of high-density mineral wool, and the interiors are crafted from corrosion-resistant aluminized steel. The digital control system utilizes a full PID microprocessor, ensuring accurate temperature maintenance within +/- 0.5°C (1°F), even under varying ambient or power supply conditions. The digital controller offers large LED displays for set and process temperatures and includes a setting lock feature to prevent accidental adjustments. Energy-efficient Incoloy sheathed elements are integrated into a compact design to facilitate quick run-up and recovery times, while a perforated heat shield enhances temperature uniformity by absorbing and evenly distributing radiant heat throughout the product chamber. This unit operates at 115 volts for use in the U.S., with a 230 volts option available for international use.
