Quincy Lab's GCE series gravity convection ovens are designed to meet the laboratory needs of industry, research organizations, and schools, offering a versatile solution for applications such as part drying, baking, curing, sterilizing, evaporating, heat treating, annealing, and testing. These ovens have a temperature range of ambient +25°F minimum to 450°F/232°C maximum. The cabinets feature a durable light gray exterior with a hard, scratch-resistant hammer finish and high-impact thermoplastic handles for door operation. Constructed with heavy steel double-wall design, the workspace is insulated with one inch of high-density mineral wool, while the interiors are made of corrosion-resistant aluminized steel. The digital control system includes the ease of temperature settings and the stability of a full PID microprocessor that maintains settings within +/- 0.5°C (1°F) during varying ambient or power supply conditions. It also features large LEDs for continuous display of set and process temperatures and includes a setting lock mode to prevent accidental adjustments. Energy-efficient, low watt density, Incoloy sheathed elements are designed for quick run-up and recovery times, with improved temperature uniformity provided by a perforated heat shield that distributes heat evenly throughout the product chamber. This unit operates at 115 volts for use in the U.S. and is also available in 230 volts for international use.
