The Interlake Tear Drop Pallet Rack beams are constructed from high-strength 15-gauge steel and feature dimensions of 2-3/4"W x 1-1/2" step beams that accommodate cross bars and decking. The design includes an interlock stud and keyhole connection that automatically locks into the column, while a piston lock secures the beam in place. When selecting a load beam, it is important to determine the desired length by adding a minimum of 10" to the combined widths of two pallets or 14" for three pallets, with additional spacing potentially required for pallets that have excessive load overhang. It is crucial to ensure that each pair of beams can adequately support the weight of the pallets per level.
