The Ohaus® Scout® STX421 electronic portable touchscreen balance has a capacity of 420g with a resolution of 0.1g, making it well-suited for laboratory and industrial applications. The device features a 4.3" (109mm) full-color VGA graphic touchscreen display with user-controlled brightness, ensuring easy navigation. It can be powered by an AC adapter (included) or 4 AA batteries (not included). Connectivity options include RS232, USB host, USB device, Ethernet, and Bluetooth® (available as an accessory). Constructed with an ABS housing and a stainless steel pan, it also includes an ABS draft shield (for 1mg models only), a weigh below hook, a transportation lock, a manual calibration lock switch, a security slot, and adjustable leveling feet with an illuminated up-front level indicator. Key design features include a stability indicator, a stackable design with a storage cover (excluding 1mg models), mechanical and software overload/underload protection, a low battery indicator, auto shut-off, auto tare, and a span calibration mass included on models up to 620g capacity.
