The Haws® Gate Valve Stem Shield™ with Cable Lock, model 9109S, features an 18" long stem shield designed to protect the stem threads of yoke gate valves. This product is made from chemically-resistant, waterproof, soft-cell rubber foam enclosed in PVC, ensuring maximum protection for stem threading against degradation or damage. The highly visible yellow casing aids in easily detecting stem coverings, providing a safety measure to protect workers from accidental injuries and potential exposure to infection. Constructed from lightweight yet durable material, it can withstand damage, extreme temperatures, and various environmental elements. The shield is equipped with a stainless steel cable that securely locks it in place without inhibiting the operation of the valve. The dimensions of the shield include an internal length of 18-1/2", an outer length of 19-1/4", an inner diameter of 2", and an outer diameter of 3-1/2".
