The Haws® Gate Valve Stem Shield™ with Cable Lock, model 9106S, is designed to provide protection for stem threads of gate valves up to 7" long. This kit includes a soft-cell rubber foam enclosed PVC pipe that is chemically-resistant and waterproof, ensuring the safeguarding of stem threading from degradation or damage while reducing the need for frequent lubrication. The highly visible yellow casing makes it easy to detect the stem covering, thereby enhancing worker safety by minimizing the risk of accidental injuries and potential exposure to infection. The lightweight and durable material can withstand various elements and extreme temperatures. It features a stainless steel cable for secure locking of the shield without interfering with the valve's operation. The specific dimensions are 7-1/2" internal length, 8-1/4" outer length, 1-1/4" inner diameter, and 2-3/4" outer diameter.
