The Haws® Gate Valve Stem Shield™ with Cable Lock, model 9108S, is designed to protect stem threads up to 12" long for stem and yoke gate valves. This stem shield features a chemically-resistant, waterproof, soft-cell rubber foam enclosed in PVC, ensuring durability and resistance to degradation or damage. Its highly visible yellow casing allows for easy detection of stem coverings, enhancing safety for workers by reducing the risk of accidental injuries and exposure to infection. The lightweight construction can endure extreme temperatures and various environmental elements. Additionally, it comes with a stainless steel cable that securely locks the shield in place without interfering with the valve's operation. The dimensions include a 12-1/2" internal length, 13-1/4" outer length, 2" inner diameter, and 3-1/2" outer diameter.
