The Haws® Gate Valve Stem Shield™ with Cable Lock, model 9107S, is designed to protect stem threads up to 9" long for stem and yoke gate valves. This shield features a chemically-resistant, waterproof, soft-cell rubber foam enclosed in PVC, ensuring durability against extreme temperatures and various elements. The highly visible yellow casing enhances safety by allowing for easy detection of the stem covering, helping to prevent accidental injuries and potential exposure to infection. It effectively safeguards stem threading from degradation or damage and is equipped with a stainless steel cable that locks the shield in place without interfering with valve operation. The dimensions of the shield are 9-1/2" internal length, 10-1/4" outer length, 1-1/2" inner diameter, and 3" outer diameter.
