The Haws® Gate Valve Stem Shield™ w/ Cable Lock, Model 9105S, is designed to provide protection for stem threads up to 5" long on stem and yoke gate valves. This shield features a chemically-resistant, waterproof, soft-cell rubber foam enclosed in PVC, which safeguards against degradation and damage while reducing the need for frequent lubrication. The highly visible yellow casing enhances safety by allowing for easy detection of stem coverings, thereby protecting workers from accidental injuries and potential exposure to infections. The lightweight yet durable material is capable of withstanding damage, extreme temperatures, and various environmental elements. Additionally, the shield is equipped with a stainless steel cable that securely locks it in place without hindering the operation of the valve. Its dimensions include a 5-1/2" internal length, 6-1/4" outer length, 1" inner diameter, and 2-1/8" outer diameter.
