The spectrophotometer is an indispensable instrument routinely used in colleges, universities, and research institutes for quantitative analysis in fields including biotechnology and quality control of new material developed. The V-Series offers high resolution, high performance, and excellent stability. It features a user-friendly operation and an information-rich LCD display with a large 128 x 64-dot, backlit screen with adjustable brightness control that displays a wide range of data in both numerical and graphical formats. The system includes on-board data storage, capable of saving up to 200 groups of test results and 200 standard curves in RAM memory, with data restoration available after sudden power failures. The auto-setting wavelength feature allows for automatic calibration through arrow keys, minimizing operation errors. The automatic switching between Tungsten and Deuterium lamps is selectable within a wavelength range of 190 to 1100 nm. The spectrophotometer is suited for stand-alone operation but can also be PC-controlled through optional application software called 'Wave Professional,' which enables additional functions such as spectrum scan, time scan (kinetics), multiwavelength scanning, and nucleic acid/protein measurement for models SP-V1100/SP-UV1100. It includes a large sample compartment designed to accommodate cuvettes with path lengths of 5-100 mm, allowing for the use of optional holders.
