Accuris DNA quantification kits are specifically engineered for precise fluorescent measurement of double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) using instruments such as the Qubit, SmartDrop™ XF, and microplate readers. The highly selective reagents ensure that quantification results remain unaffected by single-stranded DNA (ssDNA), RNA, protein, or nucleotides present in the sample. Each kit includes a concentrated fluorescent assay reagent, dilution buffer, and ready-to-use DNA standards. To conduct the assay, the reagent is diluted with the provided buffer, and a sample volume of 1 µL to 20 µL is added; the concentration is then determined with a fluorometer that employs blue excitation at 460 ± 20 nm and measures green fluorescence in the range of 525-570 nm. The Accuris Broad Range Kit is capable of accurately quantifying dsDNA samples across a wide concentration spectrum, starting from 0.2 ng/µL, and is optimized for initial DNA sample concentrations ranging from 0.2 to 2,000 ng/µL, offering a comprehensive detection range up to 42,000 ng.
