The CNC vertical milling machine package JTM-1254RVS features certified Meehanite® castings, a precision bored and honed milling head, and high precision class 7 spindle bearings. It includes the Acu-Rite MillPwr G2 CNC package, which is USB + Ethernet compatible and provides simplified navigation without multiple menu screens. The system is equipped with a 12.1" high resolution display (1024 x 768) with 3D graphics, a 1 GHz Celeron® M processor, and an expanded tool library with datum offsets. Additional functionalities include program preview for graphical representation prior to operation, an increased program size limit to 9,999 steps, and jog control allowing quick table movement. The package supports 3-D contouring and the ability to import and run G-code files from CAD/CAM programs, and offers features such as mirror/repeat/rotate/explode/merge for efficient part program manipulation. Menu-prompted conversational programming simplifies the creation and editing of part programs, while the built-in calculator facilitates standard, trigonometric, and geometry calculations directly into part programs. Custom pockets and islands can utilize optimized path and ramp feed features, with enhanced capabilities for circles that include pocket, frame, ring, and helix shapes.
