The CNC vertical milling machine package JTM-1254VS is built with certified Meehanite® castings and features a precision bored and honed milling head, high precision class 7 spindle bearings, and a quick spindle feed nut. The Acu-Rite MillPWR G2 CNC controller includes USB and Ethernet compatibility, a 12.1" high resolution display (1024 x 768) with 3D graphics, and a 1 GHz Celeron® M processor. It features simplified navigation to eliminate multiple menu screens, an expanded tool library, increased program size limit up to 9,999 steps, and jog control for quick table movement. The system supports 3-D contouring and allows for importing and running G-code files from CAD/CAM programs. Additional functionalities include the ability to mirror, repeat, rotate, explode, and merge part programs, menu-prompted conversational programming for easy creation and editing of part programs, a built-in calculator for standard, trig, and geometry calculations, and optimized path and ramp feed features for custom pockets and islands.
