The kit includes a quick spindle feed nut for depth adjustments, a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, a three-stage power downfeed with automatic stop, a heavy-duty spindle brake, precision hardened and ground ways and table with Turcite-B on the X and Y-axis, and adjustable gibs throughout. For safety, the JTM-949EVS complies with strict CSA Group guidelines, featuring a swing away spindle guard, an L.E.D. work lamp, and an internal coolant tank within the casting base. It offers ease of use with automatic lubrication every 30 minutes, an inverter drive system, and an emergency stop on a swing away control arm for operator accessibility.
