The new White Diamond Series refrigerator and freezer combination models from CorePoint Scientific® are purpose-built for both scientific and medical applications. This unit includes a microprocessor temperature controller, a digital temperature display with sample simulated probe, and features audible and visual high and low temperature alarms. The refrigerator and freezer combination has a 12 cu. ft. capacity (10.5 cu. ft. for the refrigerator and 1.7 cu. ft. for the freezer) and is designed with two exterior swing doors—one glass door for the refrigerator and a solid door for the freezer, both right hinged and non-reversible. The adjustable operating temperature range is 1°C to 10°C for the refrigerator and -15°C to -25°C for the freezer. An auto defrost cycle occurs every 6 hours, with a maximum air temperature of +4.34°C in an empty freezer and -2.89°C when loaded, and maximum sample temperatures of -4.76°C and -9.58°C respectively. The unit is equipped with remote alarm contacts, a bottom footed shelf for air circulation, forced draft circulation for the refrigerator, keyed door locks, a magnetic door gasket for a positive seal, integrated door handles, and leveling legs. It also includes a stacking kit, LED interior lights, and two probe access ports (3/8"), one for the refrigerator and one for the freezer. The exterior is finished in white powder coating, utilizing HFC-free refrigerant (R600A) with foam insulation, and is UL/C-UL listed. The warranty consists of three years for parts and labor, along with an additional two years for compressor parts.
