The kit is designed to reinforce the eyes of cable assemblies to minimize abrasion. It includes specified components that assist in the application process: first, turn back a specified amount of rope from the thimble. The initial clip should be applied one base width from the dead end of the wire rope, with the second clip placed as close to the logo as possible. After placing the clips, turn on the nuts but refrain from tightening them. Additional clips should be spaced equally between the first two. Once all clips are positioned, take up any rope slack and then tighten all nuts evenly on each clip. This method ensures secure reinforcement for cable assemblies.
