The kit is designed to reinforce the eyes of cable assemblies to reduce abrasion and includes instructions for proper application. The method of application involves turning back a specified amount of rope from the thimble and applying the first clip one base width from the dead end of the wire rope. The next clip should be placed as close to the logo as possible, and the nuts should be turned on without tightening initially. Additional clips should be spaced equally between the first two clips, followed by taking up any rope slack. Finally, all nuts must be tightened evenly on all clips to ensure proper reinforcement and functionality.
