Engineered for safety and economy, the bump release hoppers are designed to automatically dump on contact with the roll-off container. These hoppers are perfectly balanced to roll forward when loaded, dump completely, and automatically return to an upright, locked position ready for reloading. The continuous welding helps prevent dripping of wet materials, and leak-proof hoppers are available upon request. The formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip enhances safety and strength, while the extended sides help prevent side-wise scattering of material. Additionally, the stacking feature allows for the stacking of empty hoppers, and a strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism is included. A safety chain is also provided, which wraps around the mast of the forklift to prevent the hopper from coming off the forks. Custom colors can be requested with a provided Sherwin-Williams paint code. It is important to note that OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your fork truck for written approval for the use of any fork truck attachments.
