The BSC Preferred™ 3/4 cu. yd. self-dumping steel hopper with bump release has a 4000 lb. capacity and is engineered for safety and economy. This innovative hopper automatically dumps on contact with a roll-off container and is perfectly balanced to roll forward when loaded, dump completely, and return to an upright, locked position for reloading. Continuous welding throughout the construction helps prevent the leaking of wet materials, and leak-proof hoppers are available upon request. The design features a formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip for enhanced safety and strength, while extended sides prevent the sidewise scattering of materials. Additionally, the hopper includes a stacking feature for empty units, a strong latching mechanism that is easy to operate, and a safety chain that wraps around the mast of the forklift to prevent the hopper from dislodging. Custom colors can be obtained with a provided Sherwin-Williams paint code. Note that OSHA requires written approval from the manufacturer of the forklift for the use of forklift attachments.
