The BSC Preferred™ 1/2 cu. yd. self-dumping steel hopper features a 4000 lb. capacity and is engineered for safety and economy. This innovative hopper utilizes a bump release mechanism that allows it to automatically dump upon contact with the roll-off container. The hopper is perfectly balanced to roll forward when loaded, dump completely, and automatically return to an upright, locked position for reloading. Designed with continuous welding to prevent dripping of wet materials, leak-proof hoppers are available upon request. The formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip enhances safety and strength, while extended sides help prevent side-wise scattering of materials. The hopper includes a stacking feature for easy storage of empty units and a strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism. Additionally, it comes with a safety chain that wraps around the mast of the forklift to prevent the hopper from detaching. Custom colors can be accommodated with a provided Sherwin-Williams paint code. It is important to note that OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of the forklift for written approval prior to using any forklift attachments.
