Air-Care electrostatic filters are EPA registered and designed to improve indoor air quality. The Air-Care 20" x 25" x 1" electrostatic air filter features a MERV 8 rating and utilizes static electricity to clean the air effectively. An electrostatic charge is created as air flows through a maze of static-prone fibers, attracting and holding airborne particles until they can be released by washing. Constructed with a silver frame made from a single piece of roll-formed galvanized steel fastened at one corner with a single rivet, the filter material is secured within the frame by the fibers catching on the expanded metal support due to airflow. Unlike traditional filters, which often rely on banks of 20 or 40+ 2" thick pleated filters, Air-Care filters offer a high arrestance, low resistance, permanent solution that serves as an economical alternative for commercial applications.
