Air-Care electrostatic filters are EPA registered and feature an 18"x30"x1" design with a MERV 8 rating. These filters utilize static electricity to clean the air, generating an electrostatic charge through air flowing over a maze of static-prone fibers, which attract and hold airborne particles until the filter is washed. The silver frame is constructed from a single piece of roll-formed galvanized steel, fastened together at one corner with a rivet, while the filter material is securely held in place by fibers catching on expanded metal support. Unlike traditional disposable filters, which often consist of banks of 20 or 40+ 2" thick pleated filters, these high arrestance, low resistance permanent filters provide an economical alternative for commercial applications. Key features include anti-microbial filter media, reduced pollen and dust, cleaner air quality, and a limited lifetime warranty, ensuring a high dust and particle holding capacity without the need for replacement.
