Air-Care electrostatic filters are EPA registered and designed to provide effective air filtration with a MERV 8 rating. The Air-Care 14"x14"x1" electrostatic air filter utilizes static electricity to clean the air, where an electrostatic charge is generated by air flowing through a maze of static-prone fibers, attracting airborne particles that are held until washed. The filters feature a silver frame constructed from a single piece of roll-formed galvanized steel, secured at one corner with a single rivet, while the filter material is held in place by fibers catching on the expanded metal support within the air flow. These high arrestance, low resistance permanent filters offer an economical alternative to the disposable filters commonly used in commercial air systems, which often require banks of 20 or 40+ 2" thick pleated filters. The Air-Care filters are designed for longevity, never needing replacement, and contribute to cleaner air by reducing pollen, dust, and airborne pollutants without emitting harmful ozone. The anti-microbial filter media enhances their effectiveness, providing a high dust and particle holding capacity, and they come with a limited lifetime warranty.
