Air-Care electrostatic filters are EPA registered and specifically designed in a 24" x 25" x 5" wide frame with MERV 8 efficiency. These wide frame filters offer enhanced depth and versatility compared to standard filters while effectively cleaning the air through the use of static electricity, which is generated as air flows through a maze of static-prone fibers. The electrostatic charge attracts and holds airborne particles until they are released through washing. The silver frame is constructed from a single piece of roll-formed galvanized steel, secured at one corner with a single rivet, allowing the filter material to be tucked into the frame and held in place by fibers catching on expanded metal support. Many commercial air systems utilize banks of 20 or more 2" thick pleated filters, but Air-Care's high arrestance, low resistance permanent filters serve as an economic alternative to disposable options for commercial accounts. Key features include never needing replacement, providing cleaner air to breathe, no harmful ozone emissions, reducing pollen, dust, and airborne pollutants, an anti-microbial filter media, and a limited lifetime warranty, along with a high dust and particle holding capacity.
