Air-Care electrostatic filters are EPA registered, featuring a 12"x24"x1" size and a MERV 8 rating. These filters utilize static electricity to clean the air, generating an electrostatic charge as air flows through a maze of static-prone fibers, attracting airborne particles until they are released by washing. The silver frame is constructed from a single piece of roll-formed galvanized steel, secured at one corner with a single rivet, while the filter material is held in place by the fibers catching on the expanded metal support and the airflow. Air-Care filters are designed to be a high arrestance, low resistance alternative to disposable filters often found in commercial air systems utilizing banks of 20 or 40+ 2" thick pleated filters. Key features include never needing replacement, cleaner air to breathe, no harmful ozone emissions, and a reduction in pollen, dust, and airborne pollutants.
