Air-Care electrostatic filters are EPA registered and feature a 16"x25"x5" wide frame with a MERV 8 rating. These filters are designed with more depth and versatility compared to standard filters, utilizing static electricity to clean the air. An electrostatic charge is generated by air flowing through a maze of static prone fibers, attracting airborne particles that are held until the filter is washed. The silver frame is constructed from a single piece of roll-formed galvanized steel secured at one corner with a rivet, while the filter material is kept in place by fibers catching on expanded metal support. Unlike many commercial air systems that use disposable pleated filters, Air-Care provides high arrestance, low resistance permanent filters as an economic alternative.
