Air-Care electrostatic filters are EPA registered and offer a 10"x24"x1" size with a MERV 8 rating. These filters clean the air using static electricity, which is generated by air flowing through a maze of static-prone fibers, attracting and holding airborne particles until they can be released through washing. The filters feature a silver frame constructed from a single piece of roll-formed galvanized steel, fastened together at one corner with a single rivet, with the filter material tucked into the frame and supported by expanded metal. Designed to improve air quality, these permanent filters present an economic alternative to disposable filters commonly used in commercial air systems, which often use banks of 20 or 40+ 2" thick pleated filters.
