OHAUS® microplate vortex mixers are designed for mixing microplates efficiently across a wide speed range, making them suitable for continuous-duty use in laboratory settings. The kit includes a microplate adapter and cup head, and the package comes with a detachable 3-wire cord and plug. Digital models feature independent LED displays for speed and time, allowing operators to view both settings simultaneously, as well as a timer and precise speed control for applications that require repeatable results. Non-digital variable speed models provide an economical alternative with an adjustment knob and dial markings for easy speed control. The construction of the mixers is crafted from durable Cycoloy, and they are ideal for applications such as ELISA assays, PCR preparations, digestions, and cell disruptions.
