The Ohaus® Mini Vortex Mixer is available in four models designed for gentle to high-speed reliable mixing. The non-digital model features variable speed control, while the digital model enables input of specific speed and time for consistent results. The pulsing model utilizes a unique pulse action that minimizes heat generation and enhances mixing and cell disruption efficiency. The fixed speed model is designed for simplicity, offering one-touch high-speed mixing for repetitive tasks. Applications include re-suspending liquids, mixing reagents, buffers, emulsions, ELISA assays, drug extractions, and sample mixing. The digital models feature independent LED displays for simultaneous viewing of speed and time settings, and the analog models have an adjustment knob with dial markings for variable speed control. Each model includes a detachable 3-wire cord and plug, a cup head, and a 3-inch accessory platform suitable for beakers, flasks, and test tubes, along with a stainless steel microtube holder for 12 tubes in the pulsing models. The digital versions utilize microprocessor control to maintain consistent mixing speeds, with 230V models achieving a maximum speed of 2500 RPM.
