The BSC Preferred™ 1.5 cu. yd. self-dumping steel hopper features a 4000 lb. capacity and is engineered for safety and economy. This innovative bump release hopper automatically dumps on contact with the roll-off container and is perfectly balanced to roll forward when loaded, ensuring a complete dump and a return to the upright, locked position ready for reloading. It is designed with continuous welding to prevent dripping of wet materials, while leak-proof hoppers are available upon request. Safety and strength are enhanced by the formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip, along with extended sides to prevent side-wise scattering of material. The stacking feature allows for the stacking of empty hoppers, and a strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism is included. Additionally, a safety chain is provided, which wraps around the mast of the forklift to prevent the hopper from coming off the forks. Custom colors can be obtained with a provided Sherwin-Williams paint code. Please note that OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your fork truck for written approval for the use of any fork truck attachments.
