The BSC Preferred™ 1.5 cu. yd. self-dumping steel hopper is designed with a 2000 lb. capacity and engineered for safety and economy. This innovative hopper features a bump release mechanism that allows it to automatically dump upon contact with a roll-off container. It is perfectly balanced for easy forward rolling when loaded, ensuring complete dumping while automatically returning to an upright, locked position for reloading. Continuous welding prevents the dripping of wet materials, and leak-proof options are available upon request. The formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip enhances safety and strength, while extended sides help prevent side-wise scattering of materials. It also includes a stacking feature for empty hoppers and a strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism. A safety chain is provided, designed to wrap around the mast of the forklift to prevent the hopper from detaching. Custom colors can be requested using a Sherwin-Williams paint code. Compliance with OSHA regulations necessitates obtaining written approval from the manufacturer of your forklift for the use of any fork truck attachments.
