The BSC Preferred™ 1.5 cu. yd. self-dumping steel hopper features a 6000 lb. capacity and is engineered for safety and economy. This innovative hopper includes a bump release mechanism that automatically dumps on contact with the roll-off container. Designed for optimal performance, the hopper is perfectly balanced to roll forward when loaded, dump completely, and automatically return to an upright, locked position ready for reloading. Its continuous welding helps prevent the dripping of wet materials, and leak-proof hoppers are available upon request. The formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip enhances safety and strength, while extended sides prevent side-wise scattering of material. A stacking feature allows for the stacking of empty hoppers, and it includes a strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism. Additionally, a safety chain is provided to wrap around the mast of the forklift, preventing the hopper from coming off the forks. Custom colors can be ordered with the corresponding Sherwin-Williams paint code.
