The BSC Preferred™ 1 cu. yd. self-dumping steel hopper with bump release has a capacity of 6000 lb. and is engineered for safety and economy. This innovative hopper automatically dumps on contact with the roll-off container and is perfectly balanced to roll forward when loaded, ensuring a complete dump before returning to an upright, locked position for reloading. Continuous welding prevents the dripping of wet materials, and leak-proof hoppers are available upon request. The design features a formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip for enhanced safety and strength, while extended sides prevent side-wise scattering of material. The stacking feature allows for the stacking of empty hoppers, and it includes a strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism. A safety chain is provided to wrap around the mast of the forklift, preventing the hopper from detaching from the forks. Custom colors are available with a provided Sherwin-Williams paint code. Note that OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your fork truck for written approval for the use of any fork truck attachments.
