The BSC Preferred™ 1 cu. yd. self-dumping steel hopper features a bump release mechanism and a 2000 lb. capacity, engineered for safety and economy. This innovative hopper automatically dumps on contact with the roll-off container and is perfectly balanced to roll forward when loaded, ensuring complete dumping and automatic return to the upright locked position for reloading. Continuous welding prevents dripping of wet materials, although leak-proof hoppers are available upon request. It includes a formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip for safety and strength, while extended sides help prevent side-wise scattering of materials. The hopper permits stacking when empty and features a strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism. A safety chain is included, which wraps around the mast of the forklift to prevent the hopper from detaching from the forks. Custom color options are available with a provided Sherwin-Williams paint code. Note that OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your forklift for written approval prior to utilizing any forklift attachments.
